Continuing Education
In order to renew their certification, Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs) are required to earn 10 hours of continuing education per year with at least 1 hour in ethics. They may attend webinars, conferences, workshops, or workplace training to obtain continuing education hours and must receive certificates of completion to document their hours and apply for certification renewal.
Cultural Competency

This one hour workshop will educate CPSSs on cultural awareness including working with peers from diverse cultures and providing peer support with the support of an interpreter.
